3billion to Showcase AI Drug Discovery Capabilities at BIO-Europe 2026

News | 26. 11. 03
  • To present its drug discovery strategy and pipeline updates based on patient genomic data and proprietary AI technologies
  • Advancing drug discovery programs in oncology, immunology, and other therapeutic areas while exploring opportunities to expand global research collaborations and partnerships

SEOUL, South Korea, November 3, 2026 – 3billion, Inc., an AI-powered genetic diagnostics and drug discovery company, will showcase its proprietary AI drug discovery technologies and pipeline at BIO-Europe 2026, one of Europe’s largest biopharmaceutical partnering conferences. The company will also explore opportunities for joint research and drug development partnerships with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

BIO-Europe brings together pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, investors, and other industry stakeholders to explore strategic collaborations and commercialization opportunities. This year’s event will take place November 9–11 in Cologne, Germany, and is expected to attract more than 6,000 industry professionals from around the world.

The presentation will be delivered by Pavel Printsev, Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) of 3billion, who oversees the company’s drug discovery business. He will introduce 3billion’s Genetics-First AI Drug Discovery strategy, which leverages genomic data from more than 120,000 patients, over 600,000 clinical case records, and proprietary AI models to identify novel therapeutic targets and design potential drug candidates.

A key component of this approach is the identification of genetic modifiers that influence disease onset and severity. By studying individuals who carry disease-causing variants but remain asymptomatic or experience only mild symptoms, 3billion aims to uncover genetic mechanisms that may protect against disease or reduce its severity. These insights can help identify novel therapeutic targets with the potential to reproduce such protective effects.

The company also uses its proprietary AI technologies to identify previously unexplored drug-binding sites on proteins that have traditionally been difficult to target and design small molecules that can bind to these sites. Building on these capabilities, 3billion is advancing oral small-molecule drug discovery programs across multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology and immunology. Its research activities span target identification, hit discovery, lead identification, and optimization.

In addition to its company presentation, 3billion will hold partnering meetings with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies throughout the conference to explore potential collaborations. The company aims to combine its genomic data, AI-driven target discovery, and molecular design capabilities with partners’ therapeutic expertise and experimental validation capabilities. Through these partnerships, 3billion seeks to advance joint drug development programs and build assets with potential for future licensing and commercialization.

Pavel Printsev, CBDO of 3billion, said, “Our ability to identify therapeutic targets from real-world patient genomic data and translate those insights into drug discovery programs is a distinctive strength of 3billion. At BIO-Europe, we look forward to exploring how our technologies can complement the expertise of global pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners and turn these synergies into meaningful joint research and development opportunities.“
