3billion has announced Dr. Hane Lee, a former UCLA professor of pathology/diagnostic medicine and human genetics, as 'Chief Clinical Geneticist and Director of Clinical Genetic Laboratory' overseeing the R&D for genetic diagnosis process to advance the interpretation of genetic mutation in rare diseases.

Dr. Lee had been a professor at UCLA since 2011. Dr. Lee introduced exome-based rare genetic disease analysis at UCLA Clinical Genomics Center, analyzing and interpreting genetic mutation for more than 3,000 patients with rare diseases; also being part of the Undiagnosed Disease Network (UDN).

With Dr. Lee joining the team, 3billion CEO keum believes that her talent and skills will help to speed up their global expansion and enhance their capabilities in the genetic diagnosis of rare diseases.
